...PATCHY DENSE FOG ACROSS MD AND VA EASTERN SHORE COUNTIES...

Cameras and observations indicated that patchy dense fog has
developed across a majority of the MD and VA Eastern Shore
counties. Visibilities will average between one half and two
miles, but could drop to less than a mile a times. The fog will
persist through around or just after sunrise. If fog becomes more
widespread with visibilities less of or less than a quarter mile,
a Dense Fog Advisory may be needed.

Motorists should be alert for sudden changes in visibility due to
the areas of fog. Drive at reduced speeds and use low beam
headlights only.

VA, Tidal Potomac from Cobb Island MD to Smith Point VA,
Chester River to Queenstown MD, Eastern Bay, Choptank River to
Cambridge MD and the Little Choptank River, and Tangier Sound
and the inland waters surrounding Bloodsworth Island.

* WHEN...For the first Small Craft Advisory, from 6 PM this
evening to 1 AM EDT Saturday. For the second Small Craft
Advisory, from 8 AM to 2 PM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
